Warning, long post.

It's my last day in California......what to do??? I'm currently here at Zucker-Netter, and I'm kind of sad. I guess because this and Marvel were my first real internships (aside from Cox Media). The good news is that I've survived the experience, the bad news is I'll miss all the people I've met and the film environment I've grown so accostomed to. But mostly, I'll miss Los Angeles, the movie capital of the world. Alright, I will NOT miss the car situations (traffic, parking, etc), but being here was extraordinary! It was sweet lived, and I will undoubtedly be here next summer.

Okay, now I'm going home. I'm so excited to see my family and friends. Although, once my birthday is over, I will just have to start packing and preparing for tucson. Summer??? I don't think so. But on the bright side, I have most of my door decs done and the majority of my pre-production finished for my doc. Mesa, here I come! And weather God....please don't let it be the rumored heat that has been sweeping Arizona.

Now for my Wicked review. Oh. My. God. It was unbelievable. It surpassed all my expectations. I knew the music would be fantastic, cause, well, it's Stephen Shwartz. And I knew the story would be great because I loved the book by Gregory Maguire. But who knew that the performances would be astonishing!!! My heart sunk and I was under this show's spell the entire time. The cast, okay, I love them.

Stephanie Block was beyond words. Her performance as Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, was spot on. I'm sure Idina Menzel would be so proud.

Kendra Kassebaum wasn't there, which I was kind of thankful for, 'cause Chris told me she wasn't that great. But wow, her understudy (Katie Adams).....amazing! She was exceptional and I feel she fit perfectly in that role as Galinda....whoops, I mean Glinda.

Derrick Williams was pretty good as Fiyero. His voice was a little too modern for the role. Maybe it's because I love Norbert Leo Butz so much, but he was sort of a dissapointment. Although, when I met the cast at the stage door, Derrick thought he was the shit. Yeah, keep moving buddy.

The rest of the cast was amazing. Hands down one of the best shows I've ever seen (well, still very close to Cabaret, Hairspray, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Movin' Out)

When I met them, they were, for the most part, really nice. However, me and the guy who played Chistery (the flying monkey) had some flirting action happening. Hey, I ain't complaining. He was one hot monkey....

Okay, that's all for now. It'll probably be awhile till I update. So I'll talk to you when I'm 21. Later!
